Moving into the Future

It’s been a long week, honestly a long year. At every twist and turn has been adversity and anxiety. Today the movers are on the second of three days of packing up our lives. Today’s items will go to storage until my family and I return. I hope nothing important ended up in the wrong pile. If so, there’s always IKEA.
The move process has been draining. Trying to plan, organize, and pack is a nightmare while attempting to sell a house and cars. Besides my wife, kids, and sanity; my writing has been one of the biggest victims of this situation. People tell me I have terrible timing, and in this case it’s true. Only a fool would try to launch his author’s career on the eve of moving to Japan.
My attempts to put my fingers to the keyboard have been meager these past few weeks and I hope those of you reading this forgive my absence. As soon as things settle down a bit, my next big blog post will be a look into the main character of Once Left the Field of Valor, Damien Shaw. So please bare with me a little while longer and I promise I will entice you with my current and future works.
